PGLO Care Partner Experience Survey

The Care Partner Experience Survey (CPES) is a measure to better understand the experience of caregivers or care partners who support older adults accessing specialized geriatric services (SGS). It was collaboratively developed with caregivers and care partners.

The benefits of utilizing this survey are:

Evidence-informed

  • The development of the core set of items (the minimum number of required survey items), was guided by an evidence-informed framework for measuring the caregiver experience.

Designed with and for Care Partners

  • Core items of the survey were developed by SGS, caregivers and care partners, researchers and clinical experts from across the province who participated in a collaborative decision-making process.

Supports Quality Improvement

  • This survey will provide SGS programs/clinics with valuable feedback to identify and support quality improvement initiatives while enabling care partner experience outcome data to be analyzed at the program/clinic, regional and provincial levels.
