

Rhonda Schwartz
Executive Director
Rhonda has been instrumental in driving system-wide improvements and leading collaborative initiatives to enhance care for older adults. Using her strong analytical and critical thinking, she led the development and implementation of the GAIN Performance Management Framework, launch of the Central East Senior-Friendly Care Committee, the creation of the SGS East Collaborative and co-led the Provincial Performance Measurement Committee.
Rhonda provides subject matter expertise at regional and provincial levels, including Ontario Health Teams, shaping policies and best practices that drive meaningful change. Leveraging her relationship building skills, Rhonda excels at effecting change through influence.
Her previous Director roles encompassed strategic and operational oversight of quality, patient safety, and risk management in both an academic health sciences centre specializing in geriatric care and a leading acute community academic hospital.
Rhonda has presented at regional and provincial forums and delivered training for partner organizations. She holds a Master’s degree and has held academic appointments at the university level.
Known for translating vision into action, Rhonda is committed to advocating for the health and social needs of older adults and their care partners.
