Director of Quality

Sabeen Ehsan is a forward-thinking strategic leader with a passion for transforming older adult care. With a background in clinical practice and hospital quality management, she brings a global perspective to health system innovation, service design, and performance improvement.


As Director of Quality & Planning at Seniors Care Network, Sabeen has led regional planning, evaluation, and evidence-generation initiatives to enhance integrated, high-quality care for older adults. Focusing on dementia and frailty management, she collaborates with Ontario Health Teams, GAIN Regional leadership, and provincial and community partners, including Alzheimer Societies and Adult Day Programs, to develop data-driven solutions that improve system efficiency and patient outcomes. A strong advocate for age-friendly healthcare, Sabeen is committed to amplifying the voices of marginalized and underserved populations in healthcare decision-making.


An internationally trained MD, Sabeen holds an Executive Master of Health Informatics from the University of Toronto, specializing in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital health solutions to enhance service planning and delivery. She first joined Seniors Care Network as a Planning Lead, where she played a pivotal role in driving evaluation and system improvement initiatives, resulting in an expanded leadership portfolio, which included the management of CHC-N GAIN team for three years. Sabeen enjoys mentoring graduate students and introducing them to various aspects of SGS leadership through practicum supervision. Her expertise spans policy development, health strategy, population health management, and system performance evaluation, making her a key contributor to advancing specialized geriatric care in Ontario.
