Dr. Sabeen Ehsan
Interim Executive Director
Dr. Sabeen Ehsan is a strategic healthcare leader who designs and advances value- and quality-based models of care that improve outcomes for older adults. Drawing on international clinical training, hospital quality management, and health informatics, she brings a global perspective to solving complex health system challenges through integration, innovation, and evidence-informed decision-making.
As Interim Executive Director and former Director, Systems Planning & Quality, Sabeen works with Ontario Health Teams, SGS leadership, hospitals, primary care, and community organizations to advance integrated services for older adults living with frailty and dementia. Her work extends beyond organizational boundaries, contributing to regional collaborations and cross-sectoral initiatives that strengthen integrated geriatric care.
Sabeen believes healthcare innovation should be measured by the value it creates. She combines outcomes, experience, and return on investment to demonstrate what works, guide strategic investments, and shape future models of care. Equally important to her is ensuring the voices of older adults, caregivers, and marginalized communities are reflected in health system design.
An internationally trained physician, Sabeen holds an Executive Master of Health Informatics from the University of Toronto, specializing in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital health. Since joining Seniors Care Network as a Planning Lead, she has taken on progressively senior leadership roles while managing clinical teams, mentoring graduate students and supporting the next generation of healthcare leaders.
Sabeen is passionate about building health systems that are more connected, equitable, and sustainable; where innovation is guided by evidence, collaboration, and measurable value for the people and communities they serve.
