Ryan has been CEO with Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes (CCCKL) since April 1, 2023. Prior to that he spent the majority of the previous decade with CCCKL in various capacities. From Health Promoter, to Manager of Hospice Services, to Director of Community Support Services, Ryan is well versed in the community health sector in various leadership capacities. Prior to his time with CCCKL he worked for Niagara Region Public Health after completing a Masters of Science in Applied Health Sciences at Brock University.

Ryan has always had an interest in prevention, population health, and the social determinants of health. These factors inform the lens through which he approaches his work. With much of Ryan’s work having focused on developing and implementing programs to support and care for seniors, joining the Seniors Care Network board was a natural fit!

When Ryan is not busy with professional duties he can usually be found in a hockey arena, at a ball diamond, or exploring provincial parks across Ontario.
