Kim Johnston is currently the Administrative Director, Geriatric Program, Pharmacy and Infection Prevention & Control Services at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores).

She has worked as a registered nurse in mental healthcare settings in both point-of-care and administrative roles throughout her career spanning almost 17 years. Kim has a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from York University, Master of Nursing from Toronto Metropolitan University and obtained certification through the Canadian Nurses Association as a Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse.

Kim has a keen interest in quality improvement, data driven decision making and has lead initiatives that have made significant improvements to patient care. She is very excited to be part of the Seniors Care Network Board to support the coordinated access to services for seniors in the Central East Region.
