Kerry Shudall

GAIN Regional Manager

With over 25 years in healthcare leadership and clinical practice, Kerry is an award-winning leader specializing in system planning, change management, and team leadership. She has managed diverse programs across the UK (NHS) and Canada, with a strong focus on Older Adult care.


In her role as GAIN Regional Manager, Kerry has successfully led various projects aimed at improving healthcare delivery, including the rollout of eReferral across GAIN teams. This was pivotal in incorporating different Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) into the system, streamlining communication and enhancing the efficiency of patient referrals across the region. This project has improved accessibility and coordination of care, benefiting both healthcare providers and patients.


Kerry co-led a major initiative embedding falls prevention strategies for older adults in ambulatory care across Central East hospitals, engaging multiple stakeholders to implement evidence-based practices.


As a Clinical Manager, Kerry excelled in operations planning, team building, and strategic change, with a focus on diversity, fiscal management, and pandemic response. Her experience with the NHS as a Ward Manager and Clinical Nurse Specialist involved overseeing acute, chronic, and palliative care, managing large teams, and implementing innovative services like acute non-invasive ventilation. Kerry also played a key role in staff recruitment, retention, and professional development.


Passionate about improving elder care and healthcare accessibility, Kerry remains dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes and system efficiency.
